Wiydn is a one man band. This project starts in 2005 after the end of his former band MANTIS. During that year Wiydn records a demo tape that he keeps absolutely for himself. In 2006 he starts doing live shows in the sucking madrid scene, basically for friends (few).

 

 

This is the most exciting part of the thing, improvising with loops and distortion, trying to get a different sound from that of the typical singer-songwriter`s stuff. This is also what he tries to capture at his home studio in the fucking noisy and multicultural quarter of Lavapies, right in the center of the city. At the moment he´s preparing the songs for his first solo record, which hopefully will be finished before he gets mad about listening a song 10.001 times per day. Wiydn plays, records and mixes all the instruments, vocals and programming. He also runs the artwork and production. Thank god now we have computers and cracked programs. Welcome the revenge of the renaissance man!
